This was an interesting movie, but I didn't much care for it. Interesting that you mention "A Man Called Horse" in the discussion. This movie did have much the same feel as that movie. Long segments of the movie did seem to drag on. I've seen the Richard Harris film and its sequel where he plays an Englishman who lives with the American Indians for many years. I've not seen the third film in this series. These movies will interest those who enjoy films about the lives of the American Indians, but they are long and slow films.
