Little Big Man (1970)

Pax and Michael turn on the tape recorder and talk about the 1970 dramatic comedy Little Big Man starring Dustin Hoffman, Chief Dan George, Faye Dunaway, and Richard Mulligan.

Michael also gets spooky with High Plains Drifter and Pax finds a Western Holy Grail in James D Horan's The Authentic Wild West: The Gunfighters.

  1. This was an interesting movie, but I didn't much care for it. Interesting that you mention "A Man Called Horse" in the discussion. This movie did have much the same feel as that movie. Long segments of the movie did seem to drag on. I've seen the Richard Harris film and its sequel where he plays an Englishman who lives with the American Indians for many years. I've not seen the third film in this series. These movies will interest those who enjoy films about the lives of the American Indians, but they are long and slow films.

The most interesting periods were those involving Hoffman and the American Indians.
