One Eyed Jacks (1961)

Pax and Michael muse about Marlon Brando's only directing credit, a complicated film in terms of both production and the depth of its characters and their relationships.

Also, Michael watches The Wind (2018) and Pax catches up on his Bat Lash reading.

  1. Karl Malden had a decent film career before going into TV (Streets of San Francisco with a young Michael Douglas) and then the American Express ads you remember. He also plays a good villain opposite Steve McQueen in "Nevada Smith".

And you should be getting used to seeing Ben Johnson by now. He is in multiple John Ford westerns as well as pretty much being a stable character actor in John Wayne westerns. Peckinpah had him in multiple films as well. (Plus he is in 1984's "Red Dawn".)
