The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean (1972)

Pax and Michael talk about the unique Paul Newman western, written by John Milius and directed by John Huston. There's also lots of Pony Express and Michael talks about playing the first chapter of Red Dead Redemption 2.

  1. Another movie for your list: 1957's "The Tin Star". *Anthony Perkins* as a young sheriff in a town. And as a bonus you get Henry Fonda and Lee Van Cleef.

  2. This wasn't the type of western that I usually like and I was a little bored with it. It reminded me a lot of Little Big Man. I'm not a big fan of Paul Newman or 70s Westerns. Very surprised to see Anthony Perkins in the beginning of the movie. The other actors that popped up in this movie in small roles were surprising, particularly Stacy Keach as "The Albino" and Tab Hunter.
